Olga Jaramillo Ortiz was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, in 1983. She graduated in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering at Escuela Superior Politecnica del Litoral (ESPOL) in 2007.
She is currently a PostDoc at the Telecommunication Networks and Telematics Lab (TNT) of the University of Genoa. She is a member of CNIT, the Italian Inter-University Consortium for Telecommunications.
She is part of the European project TREND (Towards Real Energy-efficient Network Design). Her main research interests regard power consumption measurements in wired networks environments and the green networking field in general.
